I can definatly see why you get a price break. BMW gets to export the car as a used car, which is significantly less IIRC. There is a whole wiki about it.

after seeing that clubgp thread i asked about it at work MB

not only does the total cost of the car get cheaper by not paying the destination and del

but they also have like a 5-7% discount for taking delivery there

i have a new DO WANT eventually if i get a euro car like that

Thought about it. U can also take delivery in sc and get free driving lessons on their race track.
