Been testing it out and getting used to the lil' more power it is now making....
Was gonna do the swap over the winter but got impatient....
I posted my motor for sale on the GSXR boards, guy came from Ohio and test rode the bike, and was happy with it and I pulled it out for him after the ride and away it went....
Then the process of the swap was not too bad, was in need of certain parts for the wiring and such which took forever.....and when I said I was waiting on parts, I really was I just didnt say for what motor
It fits like a glove in there, just like stock....had to do a lil' modification here and there but overall, I would do it again....
Pretty much everything has been replaced on the bike....
I am happy w/ this body style and not a fan of how the newer bikes few as far as seat postion and confort.....So thus why the swap and keeping this bike.....
Mods for now are:
* 1000 motor, all stock internals....maybe stroked or even forged and boosted next yr
* -2 up front, +2 in the rear
* 530 Drag Chain
* 12" stretch, lowered front 2", rear 3"
* Front lowering strap
* 1000 front calipers, Going on this week
* 1000 rear caliper
* Upgraded Galfer rotors
* Stainless brake lines
* 07 wheels on the way, lighter
* PAIR valve delete
* Smog delte
* Heltech TRE Mod...Keeps the ECU from pulling timing and removes top speed limiter
* Brock's clutch mod going in next week
* Brock's clutch springs going in next week
* Barnett Kevlar clutch and plates going in next week
* All short runners V Stacks
* Power Commander 3 USB
* Hindle Stepped race header 1 7/8" primary's and 2" mid-pipe
* Leo Vance Race Exhaust, need to polish it up, not a fan of satin
* Dyno tune hopefully end of next week
* Lots of Carbon fiber parts as well around the bike to replace plastic pieces
* Prob more shit I just forgot right now...
Then once I get that done and outta the way....gonna add the...
* MPS Air shifter w/ kill box
* DynoTune nitrous set up 2/ a 25 shot to start, dumping it straight into the throttle boddies
* Nitrous progessive control box
* New swing arm w/ 12-14" stretch, nitrous bottle holder, and built in air box for the air shifter
* MSD 2 step Launch Control
* 04 R1 Throttle mod
* Wrap of bike....Prob in all of Carbon Fiber....
and cause everyone hates to read on this forum, picture time.....
and now going back in....
