Rear end ques

Alright so tonight we went and picked up eagles old rear end from his trans am..... Going to be using the intervals for my buddies 99 camaro..... Thing is when we pulled the cover off the camaro it had the old style one with yellow springs this one was the new style. Will the 373 gear bolted on the camaro still work?

it should if your using a 3.xx series carrier

make samn sure you check and dbl check the pattern or youll get noise

Can I use a 3 channel abs carrier i'n a 4 channel abs car? I k ow the housings are different but can the intervals work with the gear?

as long as the carrier tone wheel doesnt hit the housing it should be fine...at worst you remove the tone ring

I don't think it will..... Eagles has to sets of bolts on the ring gear. Outside and inside. This gm 373 gear only has outside bolts and no abs ring on the gear there on the axles

Well we found out he has a 3 series carrier i'n the camaro. Not sure what eagle had it looks like a torsen

Well here is an update..... looks like it all fit in. So thanks to Eagle for helping us out and giving us a great deal on his rear end...... But when we decelerate we hear sometimes a tiny clicking noise? anyone have any ideas? we could have done something wrong but were so tired right now we dont care to look just yet
