Last week when we dyno'd, the first pull was around high 600s and the 2nd pull was 725. Friday I put it back on the dyno and made 4 pulls. Pull #1 was around 750. For the next pull, I leaned it out and added some timing and a couple lbs of boost. Pull #2 was 813whp at 22psi. Pull #3 was 843whp at 24psi. Pull #4 was 870whp at 26psi. So far so good on the new setup making power.

Unfortunately, the track visit did not go as well. I had another fluke part failure and ended up destroying my hood.

OH and fwiw... it went 9.1 on its first pass out with this new turbo/exhaust setup... its a t76 from what it sounds like-


quite a bit less boost than the 26 that they got 870whp out of also from what i am reading...


also- old setup on twins wen 8.65... but he can build more boost now at the line with this setup and launch harder he saying.. also saying car feels stronger throughout the entire deal...

and yeah. that trans is pretty serious. at the same time tho, the cars weight i read somewhere is like 2200lbs without driver... so its pretty light also.

well this is now their built motor- they had been running a 55k mile junkyard block that just kept taking it. id guess 50+ sub 10 second passes... amongst whatever the hell else dyno pulls and what not thrown at it...

id anticipate this one not going anywhere...

Its pretty much just a tube chassis with a GP shell. Still a 3800 engine, but I dont think anyone is doubting the bitches make power. Matt is a cool cat.

I am not a fan of ZZP, so with that said I absolutely love the fabrication work Matt has put into that car. I've actually never had any problems with Matt M, but turbo tim and zoomer are a couple of pricks when it comes to getting shit sorted out. Turbo tim clearly being the worse, there's a lot of people that would like to slap him in the face, especially Phatride since he completely douched up his tune.

I say congrats to Matt M for all the hard work he's put into that car, I for one totally thought he was making it into something else and not having any plans of chasing down the current record. Then he posts this car is making gobs of power out of nowhere. He claims 8.40's but I think he's being a little safe with that statement. I'll bet the car does 165-168mph traps cause i personally look at MPH before I look at an ET, I can care less what the ET is
