That would be sweet! I'd drive a steam car.....has a high level of danger involved!

It's stupid to think you're helping the enviroment in any way by buying a plug in electric hybrid or hell even a gas/electric hybrid. The only thing you're saving is the amount of money it costs to get you that energy. Coal is a terrible and crude source of energy that probably hasn't changed in a few hundred years.

We should just all drive sailboat cars. That shits free!

This doesn't run like the typical hybrid with a gas motor and electric motor powering the wheels. The gas motor only charges the batteries. This way, when the motor is on, it runs at one set speed. When tuned and set up proper like this, a gas engine is very efficient.

It's a range extender setup like the Volt. The gasoline engine does not drive the wheels, only the electric motor does.
