Default GM Accelerator Pedal Removal?

Anybody know how to take off a GM Accelerator Pedal? I have replacement pedals but I cannot figure out how to get the pedal off the arm.

TIA,

John

Nothing, but I bought set of GXP logo pedals, that are much nicer looking than the stock black pedals. Brake was just a lot of brute force, but I cannot see how the accelerator comes off.

I wish I could help ya, but my car came with metal pedals. GTP on the brake pedal and a replacement accelerator pedal. From what I see though, the accelerator pedal, atleast my aftermarket one is held on by 4 screws.

I think yours are screwed into the stocker, mine is a replacement of the stocker, with the pivot molded into the back....

Well I got it on, it involved much more than I thought.... Plastic pedal is attached to the arm via a pressed pin, so I had to cut it off....
