Bought a 96 4 cylinder S-10 for a work truck.

114K, Elderly owned, runs flawlessly.

Its the OHV 2.X? Automatic.

The truck is an absolute dog, but I bought it for MPG and for the bed. *Had a sunfire with the same motor and a 3 speed auto getting 33mpg ages ago*

Anything I should look out for on this truck? Had its brake booster, battery, plugs/wires/O2's replaced within the past 3 months.

Funny thing, this was meant to be serious for those who have owned, or own S-10's like Eagle and the member with the black cab and a half one.

I'm genuinely curious who has experience with these trucks so I know what to look out for etc...

and what do you know, the car is pouring trans fluid out the front seal. you knew about it, and had oil dry underneath it.
big surprise, another "minty" dasfinc car turns out to be a shitbox.
you ripped off good people, i hope the few bucks you made off that deal was worth it.

I think with the vehicle you bought, you'll be fine. Shits going to break, no doubt about it, but they run forever.
