:fu:

Happened right in front of my work Saturday morning. I turned onto the side street and was heading straight. The next intersection a lady in a Acura TSX wanted to make a left, but has to wait since I have no stop sign. Well, that didnt stop her. Literally. :picard:

I called my insurance and was supposed to have an adjuster come out today to inspect it. They assured me it is a 99% chance of being totaled due to "previous damage" and the age of the car. Trust me. I know this song and dance. :hs:

The other insurance company just called me this morning and said they can take care of me and the car instead of going through my insurance. Plus I get a free rental. :fy: So now I have to wait 2-4 days for the inspector.

So yeah.........FUCK.

This car is nice and I do enjoy the interior comforts better then GPs, 97-03s anyway, but it has been cursed since I bought it. Hell, the ordeal of buying it lead to me totaling another car. :roflpicard:

I dont know whats going to happen. There are plenty of thoughts rattling around. I sure can afford payments up to $300 a month, so GTOs are a possibility. Ive also looked at Avalanches, 5.3 Trailblazers, F-150s. Only issue is, all of these are gonna make my total monthly payment go up, and throw my plan of being debt free by early next year out the window.

Not totally sure on what to do. :hs:

I liked the gto or hemi magnum ideas you had.

Or just fix that pile up on the cheap and pocket the rest of the cash

This idea poped in my head as well. Id have to wait to see what the insurance claims it as. Im buying it back regardless. If its just a spindle, trailing arm, and other suspension shit, Id buy it back and leave the shit dented up.

Ugh. My sister is trying to offload her 97 Camry onto me for $800.

Ill find out whats going on Joel. It will be at least 2 days before the adjusters got here. They were kinda perplexed that the car is at my house instead of a shop or salvage yard. I told them I had progressive tow it here in case it gets totaled, cause I would buy it back. So that would eliminate a tow out of the deal.

I'll have him hang on to them anyways. Any idea on kbb on the car? Kid at work had his park ave. Backed into right at the door/fender and they gave him like $3k. He bought it back; replaced the strut and tie rod for like $60 and still drives it. He was gonna use the cash for a downpayment on another car.
