It's a factory 5.0 explorer fan clutch, no rental tools worked, I give up.

air hammer and chisel bit, brap a groove in a flat near the corner in the loosen direction, then hit it at an angle and it will come free

when your workin book/hr you find as many shortcuts as you can...it still suprizes me how many techs havent ever seen/used the air hammer method

still on the engine, I have syPs iirc 22 gal compressor

no, no wrenches fit... Fan is junk, half is sawzalled off already

Bolts for the water pump are behind like everything, I'd have to pull off both front accessory brackets to swap that out, which I'd REALLY rather not do at this stage.

You really can't get the clutch off? At that point I'd be taking the sawsall to it and getting ready to get a new waterpump.
