With the knowledge that Ford's engineers know infinitely more about suspension tuning, Hennessey has focused the majority of its efforts under the hood, slapping a Whipple supercharger onto the Raptor's 5.4-liter V8 and ramping output to 501 horsepower (at 5,100 rpm) and 520 pound-feet of torque (at 3,200 rpm). Combined with the 9.1 pounds of boost, a K&N intake, upgraded fuel injectors, a stainless steel exhaust and headers, and then tuned with a reflashed ECU, the VelociRaptor's 0-60 time has been reduced from 8.4 to 5.6 seconds with the quarter mile dispatched in 14.1 seconds at 97 mph.

I'd rock this in a heartbeat. 100mph through the desert sounds fucking badass. The suspension on this thing is ridiculous for a production truck IMO.

People can't except change.... It's normal. Lightning was a cool truck but something somewhere told ford that this was a better idea. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if these were used for boarder patrol and prerunners.

I think these trucks are cool as hell. Like ya said, the suspension setup on this thing from factory is pretty damn awesome. This is something I'd buy if i lived in vegas. take that bitch into the desert every weekend.

that's a good segment. Didnt know about that hill control either, it's cool technology, but to me it's the same as the 370Z's manual trans with the automatic rev matching, just kinda takes the fun and skill out of it. and, speaking of a manual trans, that's what this truck needs as an option
