lots of things involved. you're only increasing the bore size, not the stroke, or gasket thickness or piston relief size, or the combustion chamber, or piston to deck clearances...

LS1 stock values:
3.90 bore
3.62 stroke
I used 0cc reliefs
and .054 gasket thickness, although I think stock is somewhere in the .03x range....

o ok i understand. i was being tarded and not considering that it is only increasing bore... basically the diameter of the hole- and not the rest of the volume of the cylinder which would be needed for my alllll too easy 347x1.03 calculation that i made up.
