Alrighty so I have finiancially planned myself through july/august of this year. Well of course when you plan something nothing usually goes to plan anyways. lol

I wanted opinions on what I should do. If come july/august if I should invest into a 98-02 LS1 camaro or trans am, or save through next spring and buy a 98-02 vette.

Of course I would love a vette but, its cheaper to go faster in a camaro or t/a.

If I buy this year I do not want to spend more than 8k, but im not opposed upto 10k.

I would like to make this car a nice day/weekend warrior. I would like to beef it up for the track as well.

Im looking at all options and I am not opposed to any opinions.
If there is a better or different car I should buy, speak up!

a car is a liability not an investment...

aren't any c5 vettes, even non-z06, going to run more than 10k? i didn't think any were that cheap, esp z06. i am looking for a tracky/weekend car now too, although it is race track not drag strip. e36 m3s are well within that price range though.
