what years were they produced on the IROC camaro's?

this guy has a set off an '84 IROC and i just want to make sure. I'm waiting on a response from him

Im almost 100% sure there was no l98 in 84 i thought it all started in 85 86 when the vette got the l98tpi with alum heads

What casting # are you looking for and where are they marked ?

I see, thanks. He responded and said it was off a crossfire injection or so. Either that or just off a carbed 350. so they probably aren't what i'm looking for.

For the most past the have a better valve setup and smaller chambers than most 350 heads. So as far as a budget/performance buy they are great heads to just bolt on. her is what i found as far as casting#'s though:

as far as being an iron head it has a casting # of 083, and depending on the motor/year they have different valve setups. Mainly off TPI setups though. The vette's should have had the aluminum version w/a casting of 113. They would be a great bolt-on for my build
