Need opinions on a shop to have cam bearings installed

Mr.gto Bought the ls6 block from utryd2 and we're about to start the build, looking for recommendations on a shop to install new cam bearings and have the block cleaned up.

alright and do ya guys know of any shop that balances pistons, crank, and rods??

There are a ton of shops in your area, any ol' machine shop/performance shop will be able to change cam bearings. It only takes a few minutes.

i worked there last year. they can do it all. balance and blue print within half gram on everything. block cleaning and cam bearings are easy as well. give em a call and see what randy can do for ya.

wow they are only in plainfield and super close to us ill have to look into them for sure...... when you balance the motor do we just bring them the pistons and crank and rods and such or what we have to do?

just give them the stuff in a box?

bring pistons, rods, rod bolts, piston pins, crank, and balancer is all you need i believe. i never messed with teh crank stuff. the owner did that. i did balancing of the rods and pistons for him.

No, just newe internals. If he had the bigger blower he would've but this one would get maxed out with too many cubes.
