The place that paints them, (IND) is a local company and will install it for free. Haven't done the short throw yet, but I might this winter. Getting wheels and other goodies for the M this winter along with mods on the SS. If you don't think $1200 for a carbon fiber trunk, painted and installed is a good price, you've never bought anything carbon fiber.

Oh, and Bru. The need for the short shifter decreases every mile that is put on the transmission. The trans is a lot more smooth and easier to work with now that it has some miles on it, it was horrific the first few thousand miles, but I have no problems with it now. Can't remember the last time I missed a shift. I think it has a lot to do with getting used to a BMW transmission also, as I've seen multiple people miss shifts on a BMW trans, mostly the 1 to 2 shift.

If you look closely at the first picture, of the blue trunk, it will look like that. The trunk will be mostly blue except on the "spoiler" where it will fade from blue to carbon fiber. I will also leave the part where the license plate goes carbon fiber.

IND will paint anything Riski, but they really only carry BMW parts.

Woot woot. Also getting matte black front grilles and side gills from them with the tinted LEDs. Car should look a lot different next spring!

IND is part of a repair place. As far as I can tell, they are top notch in quality and their prices are very reasonable. If you want to come with me when I get the trunk, you can come.
