Getting tints tomorrow at nine. im thinking eithor 35% or 20%. no mix and match. anyone have any thoughts

I got 35% and I love it, 35% is also what the proposed legal limit will be in Illinois.

see this is how i look at it. iv been running a loud exhaust for a while now and i havent been caught by police. i never see police due to my driving schedule but i feel once i get them on ima get a ticket

Meaning, the second you do it(getting 20% tints) you will get pulled over and ticketed, lol.

I have limo in rear and 20 on the sides. Go 20% its not that bad. You will see the diff when you go. Im sure they will have examples of what each one looks like on a shop widow.

i have 15% around the back 35% on the front and i love it the mix and match looks ok on a 2-door as the majority of the side of my car is the front window.....but for you i would def go 20% all the way around....35% you'll wish you went darker and be upset about it i still look at mine and wish i went 15% all the way around but plainfield cops are rediculous....

Ive had 20% in the back on one car, and 5% in the back on another. The 5% was definatly better IMO. However, as stated, the new proposed law will make 35% all around legal. It definatly would look good like that.

Most of the time the Police won't ticket you or give you a hard time during the day.
During the night they are most likely to write a ticket. To help avoid tickets at night, If you are pulled over, turn on your interior lights BEFORE the cop gets out of his. This allows the officer to see inside the vehicle and less leary about what could be hiding behind the tinted window.

Our van has 20% on the front doors and it is fine. Remember that darker tints can also hamper your vision at night.

i just got them done. i went it a 35% all around. they are fine to me i wish they were a tad darker but hey i got them done for free so i aint complaining
