Cooper S beat the Veryon..... you could buy 200+ minis for the price of a veryon....I'm surprised by the amount of >$50k cars on that list

I read the article a couple weeks ago. It's not necessarily how fast the car is, but how much fun it is to drive. The Veyron is fast, but they said it feels numb, whereas the Cooper is more lively, etc.

Meh, I'm not swingin nuts, but Ford has made some good drivers cars through the years. Some, yeah not the most powerful or the most advanced, but what they lacked in that they made up for in chassis and engineering. It also helps when you have a "performance shop" like Cosworth in your back pocket.

I like how the Sti is more fun to drive then the gumpert. I don't believe it.

Also integra type r #22? I've driven a stock itr many times and driven in a full mugen suspension itr. It's an amazing car but I have a hard time believing it's a better experience then all those other cars.....

I could give two fucks if the thing steers ITSELF. As long as I have control of the 'go' pedal, I'd be happier than a pig in shit who just rubbed up next to a cooper.

But that's not a drivers car... That's an idiots car.

Exactly, they always have lists for cars that are "fast" this is about cars that you can go out and have fun with. They are able to be tossed around, their chassis is compliant, the steering has great weight and feedback, there is just enough power to evoke a controlled oversteer but somehow not out of control. It is easy to design a car that is RWD and a ton of power. Its not easy to design a car that doesn't succumb to snap oversteer or horrifying understeer. To prove my point, that is why the Lotus Elan and 1st gen Miata are in the top 10. By todays standards they are slow as balls, but they have the perfect balance of weight, chassis development, and power to make it a perfect drivers car.
