I like Optima Batteries. I use a yellow top in the Fiero and the Torrent. I use a red top in the minivan. The cheapest place to get them is on Ebay. You can get them for around $120-$140 depending on what size you need.
Red tops are standard batteries
Yellow are heavy duty with a deep cycle ability
Blue top is the marine version for boats and trolling motors.
I've never had a problem with them. Always start and in the Fiero I'm on my second one in 14 years. They seem to last about 8 years or so before they start acting up.
I have had the yellow top and no problems
Buy a duralast from autozone, ive never had a problem with one. No need to spend quadruple the cost or more on an Optima for a stock car. A battery isnt supposed to last forever, it needs to be changed every few years. Dont just wait for it to strand you before replacing it.
