electrical help

I have an 88 jeep comanche and my electrical aux fan(cooling fan) is not hooked up, I have a short somewhere bc i keep blowing fuses for my tail lights. i am not good with electrical work at all.
Can anyone help me wire up my fan and help me with my tail lights?

I just got everything i need for cooling fan(switch, wire, soldering iron, solder, shrink wrap, tape)

if u werent so far away from me, i would help for sure. ur jeep is an 88 which is the first year chrysler owned jeep after AMC, im assuming they didnt change much within a year, and AMC was notorious for bad wiring. my wiring in the pacer is a terrible hack job but besides an enormous short when i changed the battery, i havent had any issues.

braidwood il, i map quested it and it said 74 miles, 1 hr 34 min. i wouldnt mind driving that far its just that i work 5 days a week and the 2 days im off i have school.
