I think that waaay to much. I bought my 04 with 10k less miles for 10,500 out the door.

I'd stick to 05+ cause they have the better interior also.

yeah it is, but im not gonna pay that much for one. i was just using it for reference.

all of the wrx's that i have seen 05+ are bein listed for 15+

5 speed I assume? It's not as weak as people make it out to be as long as you treat it well IMO.

04 has the new exterior but similar interior of previous models. It does get kick ass seats though. What are you looking to spend?

It is quite possible that they are up right now. I'm not under any rush to buy, other than I want to get rid of my v6 truck. Also being in the south burbs they are hard to come by. So I'm gonna have to drive up to the north side to test drive when I find one.

Oh I forgot to say I drive pretty easy and get about 26mpgs with rural city driving and highway driving. Pure highway best I've gotten is 29mpg

i havent made up my mind compeletly yet. but i have always like em, and i do like the idea of awd. so it may end up close to that, but my red truck will always be my baby. lol.

bmx - how tall are you? im 6'6" and im curious how well ill fit into one of these.

I'm 6'1" and have tons of room to spare. A few guys with subarus from the fairy Algonquin crew are much taller like 6'5" +

my head is about even with the b pillar slightly in front. Most 4 door cars I look out the baxk seat window.

Sickmint79 is a tall guy if I recall.

Really just 1 engine. 2.0l have a rep. For failed rod bearings. 2.5l have a rep for cracked pistons.

Oh thought you were taller. Ryan and Eric from Algonquin are mid 6' and I assume they have no problems. I actually still have a decent amount of room to move my seat back.

plus the wing comes off. not going to find one for that price range though. the price difference for an 05 sti is worth it IMO.

oh ive got stage 2 mods roughly. catless uppipe, catless 3" downpipe, 3" catback (non-rice), aps intake and a protune...plus a few suspension mods.
