Hey All, Our local Fiero club had it's annual car show yesterday and I thought I would share some pics:
IMSA Body kit on a 305 V-8 Fiero
383 LT1 Turbo Fiero (Intercooler in trunk)
Same car had custom body on it. the owner grafted Mini Cooper side marker lights into the body:
Dual Quad - NOS Fiero:
LS7 powered custom Fiero: Chopped 3" 12" Corvette brakes.
Fiero Pace car with 240hp N/A 4-cyl racing engine. (built by Pontiac, It's the SD4 racing engine) This car was one of the 3 Pontiac built cars that paced the 1984 Indy 500 this one was repainted for PPG to use as a pace car. (one of the others is in Indy at the Indy 500 museum and the other is in the GM Heritage Museum.) This one was then on display at the Museum of Science and Industry until last year where it was bought at auction by a fellow Fiero owner. It use to sit behind a glass wall in the olden streets area. Now it runs and drives!
Fiero with "Scorpion" body kit: (had a Northstar V-8 in it)
We had over 90 Fiero's show up:
Custom Fiero with a 427 LSX race engine in it. Just built this summer. Soon to be track tested as soon as the engine is broken in. Usually he likes to race at Byron.
Work in progress: Chopped 3", 300Z headlights, 3800 engine soon to be 3800SC.
In 1987/1988 Pontiac installed a Ferrari-like body kit on a Fiero and called it a Mera. Ferrari sued GM and they had to stop making them.
I didn't see Sprayin Orange Hatch's Fiero show up.
Comments??
