Water spots on windshield

I've got some pretty nasty water spots on my windshield that won't come off and it makes driving at night difficult. Not as difficult as driving without prescription glasses at night, but you get the point.

What can I do to get the water spots out? A glass polish? Any home remedies?

This might be totally bananas... but i have had people recommend clay barring the windshield. Since you just did the TA i bet you have some pretty used up clay laying around you could do it with.

Im actually doing my glass as well since my road trip is next week. After cleaning the inside and out there are still some spots. Ill give this a shot as well.

I did get a few of the spots out with some elbow grease and a microfiber towel.

Yes, claybar is a good first attempt. If that fails try vinegar, if that fails then try "Bar keepers friend" (some powder stuff you can get at most hardware stores, walmart, or prolly target.) If that doesnt work bring it by the shop and we'll get it off.

Yeah, if they are new clay should do the trick. Sooner the better too, dont let it sit out in the sun too long either.

I can guarantee there will be a picture of some hot woman peeing on someone's windshield. I shall test that theory when I get home.
