Another head gasket!

Yup! so i have blown 2 head gaskets in two months! FML

Have you had your heads surfaced @ all? I'd check your intake torque specs close too... DSS says just 2-3lbft off torque spec will lift heads and blow your head gaskets.

Just a thought.

the first time i blew a head gasket i was running stock ported heads! and this time im running new afr heads! and im only running 13lbs of boost and my compression ratio is around 8:1! im gonna pull the car back apart and see what happens!

I would get the heads o ringed......since it is apart.....the only downside to o-ringing the heads and making a better seal is that the boost will find the next weak point to blow out of.....

nevermind, your prob still fuel injected....otherwise I would say it would take an hour to get down to the block should be like 2-3 hrs.....but you been there done that

Wouldnt be long to fix......A few hours of wrenching and its back to good.....I would get the heads O Ringed......Had my 308 w/ Dart heads carbed with the bottle and O Ringed them after I blew the cosmetics out at the track.....replaced them ran again then over the weekend O ringed them and was fine ever since....

yeah def is only like a 3 hour job! i have taken the car apart and put it back together! who knows how many times. i know the motor like the back of my hand! its just getting annoying having to work on it everyday!
