Researching a roll-bar for the 'vert

I've been thinking lately that maybe for my safety (and others) that I should look into getting a roll-bar. Anyone have any experience with getting one of these installed on a 'vert? About how much can I expect to spend?

You should be able to find a bolt in kit since the mustang is such a popular platform. I believe getting one fabbed up would be in the $600 range, depending if you want it painted or anything else.

I know, but I have to start thinking about safety. That car is too fast to be running around with only the windshield keeping the car from crushing me.

I've been looking into it for a while. They aren't that expensive and I like the way they look. Still trying to figure out what color I want it, powdercoated red to match or poshed and shiny

What kind of roll bar are you talking about.....If you mean tube roll bar, you would need atleas a 4 point to make it functional......which would mean a lose of comfort....Main hoop, subframe bars, and door bars, as rear mount bars would not be wise unless you never drop the top....

Like I've been saying since you put the blower on the car, a roll bar would look badass and also be a good move for safety.

i think a 4 or 6 point would look cool and be functional. first thing i thought of was those goofy roll bars with the 3rd brake light though...didnt know you meant cage!
