my buddy has an '88 GT vert thats bone stock and he just bought a '90 Cobra.... I looked at the heads and the '88 has a casting #10 and the '90 has a casting number #15. is there a big difference in HP numbers between the 2? both are project cars but there is a possiblity of combining the 2, but he was wondering.

yeah there is no such thing as a '90 Cobra. Probably just a replica. There are other numbers on the head that will help identify which heads they are. Cobras had the GT-40 head on it, and H.O. mustangs 87-93 should have E7TE heads on them.

I forgot where the casting number is that shows which heads they are. Theres a lot of good info on mustang sites.
