STI scoop....yay or nay?

ok heres the deal. i got a GREAT deal on a painted STI scoop. at what modded point do you guys think its cool to put it on without being rice?

sti scoop was pretty much the very first thing i threw on my car. but thats cuz when i bought my wrx it had a c/f scoop on it, and i thought THAT looked weird w/ nothing else done to the car.

(It does however look good on rodger's wifes car )

i like the SPT one but they seem hard to find used. i just hate those crooked ass melon shooters people have.

Downpipe and tune definetly. I forget what year you have so the up-pipe may not be key. (though never hurts)

No need to "justify" an STI scoop. It'll still feed cool air to the intercooler!

No idea if you clarified in your post, but what downpipe/tbe are you looking at?

I scored a used TurboXS "stealth back" for like 200. Completely catless, came with the downpipe and race pipe and could bolt up to stock exhaust.

I miss my WRX....
