Ron, i think you and i should go on a bro-date. That is exactly how i feel about wagons and SUVs.

Want something that drives like a car and hauls a good amount of stuff, buy a wagon.

Want something that can get better gas mileage than an SUV and haul more stuff? Buy a Minivan.

SUVs serve a purpose, but not for Mrs. 2.5 kids-driving-to-soccer-practice-in-wilmette.

If anyone is insecure enough to let a stigma cloud their vehicle decisions for a practical vehicle, then they shouldn't drive.

Now don't get me wrong. I'd rock the shit outta a diesel 4x4, but i'd also use it to go places a car can't, or tow something a minivan could never do. But just using it as a way to haul family around is inefficient at the least.
