anyone Procharged?

Anyone know about problems with cars that have prochargers....my buddies got a 98 mustang gt... procharged. Sometimes it has problems starting. Like it doesn't even try to turn over... But everything else works ( radio, lights) and it starts when it's push started... Any ideas?

If it does not want to turn over and he has power, I would say his starter is gone.

I think Shibby is procharged and was having similar issues, I'd contact him.

I believe he found out that the problem went away when he started the car with the TB slightly cracked open.

yeah i wouldnt think that would have anything to do with the pro-charger unless it was actually trying to crank. Def. sounds like a starter.

sounds like it could be the starter since it push starts. but could be the TB issue, tho it should crank tho even if the tb was messed up.

If it doesn't crank @ all... then replace the starter. Even tho that job blows on a 4.6L

if u got LTs it blows. i dont think mine even can come out with the size of my LTs.

It's that damn 3rd bolt way up top that's next to impossible to get to. I can't imagine trying to do that job around a set of LTs too... ugh.
