i dont see the use of getting rid of a gto in favor of cobra, and or vice versa, not a huge performance difference there, why go through the whole process of getting rid of the car for a very similar car. to each their own though, im not a fan of swapping cars left and right

Are you kiddin me...?

03-04' with a 2.76 upper pulley and a tune just under 500rwhp and low 11's for next to no money to get there.

03-04' STOCK long block with a KB 2.6 or 2.8 at 20psi 600+rwhp and 10's all day.

I think the GTO can handle like 6psi safely... ROFL

To each his own... my work here is done.

personally id keep the GTO but i like GM better then ford
GTO interior = much nicer
GTO ride = much nicer

depends what you want. the GTo is a nicer car.
the cobra will go faster for less

Dont get me wrong the GTO's are sick as hell... but for the money you'll get way more out of the Cobra.

I have a buddy thats had a Whipple on his 03' for near 100,000 miles and has never had any issues. Its a mid 10 second daily driver thats made over 100 track passes.

I understand the GOAT's have high compression from the factory being N/A but thats one more reason to buy a Cobra. 8.5:1 compression from the factory has boost written all over it. Although a GOAT with some spray would be fun as hell.

It really boils down to personal preference in the end. You need to figure out what your looking for out of the car and what your plans are for the car... Daily driver/weekend warrior or Trailered/Track/Street Racing whore???

eh well hes not really a dick about it anymore... but would you let your dad buy you a GTO or a Srt-8 Jeep when your 16 and hes a orthodontist and owns 3 buissness

You dont buy your 16 year old 400HP+ cars. Hes gonna find him smashed into a tree one day. I would teach my son the value of money and that he has to earn what he wants.
