anyone have any led experience?

my gauge lights are going out in my dash and my aftermarket gauge lights are not as red as i would like them to be... so i am looking into led lights on ebay...

anyone have any experience with any of them?

any sellers to stay away from or go to?

any light types to stay away from?

im thinking of getting something along these lines:

well i dont think they are different.. the ones where i am just replacing the bulbs... and the ebay ones are a shitttton cheaper.

I replaced every bulb in by car to led it only cost about 25 bucks. I got them from ebay.

I just put red LED's in my a-pillar guages. It looks like sex.

ya... 10 lights with 6 led bulbs each for about 10 bucks shipped... how could i go wrong... im gonna use those for my gauges and dash, and then buy a bunch of white ones for my other interior lights, and sidemarkers, and license plate lights...

I would get white ones for the dash, there is a red filter on them anyways, so when you put red lights behind the filter, you loose a bit of output.... But i guess interior lights dont need to be really bright......

post info concerning front turn signals... I already have LED 194's (white... will look hot when I get clear corners)

I want white or amber LEDs in front turn signals, and that shitty top down setup sucks balls

I wouldn't get those that you posted they will be red blobs all over your guages. Look into something that has led's facing in all directions.

Same thing as the turn signals and brake light's you want to get something with the leds going in all direction. Or else it is just a dot of light.

Also I did white led interior lights and have gotten a comment from every person who rode with me, like damn those are bright wtf are they. lol

but like in my autometer gauges... wouldnt that work... they dont need to be very different from just a straight bulb..

Well bare with me i don't have a nice camera and no i doesn't take nice pics or vids. I put in my regular filiment bulbs in the corner lights to show how nicely the led's flash. Like i said not good vids or pics, one day i will invest in a nice camera since my damn cellphone takes better pics and vids.

Crappiest Vid #1 This is with a normal marker and the led signal.

I'm attempting to find out where i got the lights, as soon as i find them i'll link them up. As for the super flashing i made my own resistors at work. While i didn't have the resistors made i just wired in the old bulbs and stuck them in the fender :picard:

lol i'm jank as hell i know. I'll link up some cheap resistors i found though for the peeps that can't make their own.

Take your pick to how man led's you want and whatnot. I got the 4th ones down. I believe our cars take 3457 which is super close to the 3157 so don't be a baby if it doesn't fit perfectly. Personally mine just popped right in and i was done, but some of you might have a problem.

These look so much better in person, maybe panda can take some pics this weekend for me and post them up. They look bad ass even with 4 HID's shinning. Even better with the parking lights on.
