my friends 97 type R got stolen a few months ago down in the city (northside). it showed up a week later in the same spot with no engine, no tranny, no interior and the wheels stolen. oh and it was on donuts. the car was obviously totaled by the insurance company and he bought it back.

someday it will run again. i miss that car. a high 14 second car that was a blast to drive for being so damnn slow.

My cousin had his Civic stolen a few years ago In Des Plaines. They drove it right off the driveway when he was home. He found it a week or two later on the side of the road completely stripped.

a fuel shut-off isn't hard. Had one in my old jeep cherokee.... don't know why it needed one...

put a gps in it, u can use an old phone with gps 911, tie it into ur electric, and when its gone call 911 and they can track it

u can hide it anywhere

It'd be funny if you left a spare working phone in your car along with Lo-Jack.

When 911 says they are closing in on the car you can call the car and tell the crock "You're Fucked now Chief!" and then wire some kind of Lock mechanism in your car so they can't get out.

insurance rates in AZ arnt high for nuthin. well for one we just have IDIOT drivers out here. but 2, when you're only a few hours from the border, cars disappear quite easily..

They aren't the #1 percentage stolen, that'd be Teggies, but in raw numbers civics are #1.

At least I live in the boonies where its not too big of a problem.
