Got the Civic fired again last night with the help of leddzepp and thinkingstrings as well as my GF's dad.

Old headgasket completely shattered, piston 1 was filled with coolant.

Car is still not quite right *low RPM misses and stutters, but its not billowing white coolant smoke, I think the belt if off a tooth.

At 5 grand when Vtec pushes the cam over though, Jesus it pulls strong compared to how it used to

Anyone else notice he has 4v pistons on a 2v motor?



the stock motor has 8 valves... 2 per cylinder. Strange that the pistons have 4 "slots" for 4 valves, when the head only has 2 per cyl..
