Selling homes on the Gulf Coast of Florida
Guys, thanks for all the help in the threads about my daughter's car purchase.

We drove the top 2 candidates, the HR-V and the Kona today. Drove a Civic, too. The HR-V feels much more solid than the Kona. It feels almost like a luxurious suv. The Kona feels more like a pick up truck in how it rides.

After some bargaining with an OK salesman and a scuzzball finance guy, we purchased this Certified, one owner 2017 HR-V EX with 18K miles for $18,000 even. They were asking $18,900 online.

Got a good finance rate and didn't trade in her '97 Buick Skylark because they only offered $200. LOL! I could get $300 from a junkyard. I'll probably put it on craigslist for $600 and take $500. It runs OK and looks good but has a lot of issues and 3 warning lights lit. Trans is bumpy, too. We paid $3,500 for that car 8 years ago and she got over 100,000 miles out of it.
