1987 Chevy Cavalier Z24

Rust free original Texas car
Black exterior
Black cloth interior
Factory sunroof
Factory cowl hood (87 only year in the square body to have)
Atari instrument cluster

3800 L67 engine (engine is a 2002 and has around 55k miles)
Getrag 282 5spd trans (87 1st year of 5spd)
18” Ronato wheels
Hankook Z rated tires
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Zzp undersize charger pulley
Fast Fiero’s tune
6 puck “Bully” clutch
Driveshaft shop Stage 2 400hp axles
Engineered performance Limited slip front differential
Kyb struts, springs and shocks

Engine is around 270hp in current setup. Car weighs 2650lbs without a driver. Car runs a high 12/low 13 second 1/4 mile.

Car is in SW Michigan. Car has completely stock engine, haven’t even scratched the surface for the potential of the L67. I believe this to be the finest example of a first gen square body Cavalier in existence. This car drives straight has good power, roughly puts out double what the car ever came with is a conversation piece and has performance like a new Honda or Subaru

God I still like that generation of Z24. A friend of mine had a blue 86 or 87 Z24 back in the day. It had tints and digital dash. Looked great and fun to drive. I still think it’s the best looking Z24 out of all the three generations of Z24’s.

That dealer orders a lot of G56 trucks. I got a few quotes from them when I was looking since they were the only people with the balls to order a Laramie or better trim package with a manual.
