I was out in the garage last night ...got into the 420...and then thought up this. Took about 10 minutes. I kind of like it; at least it’s functional.

Going to make a grille for it, and put some splitters on the sides. Looks a bit more aggressive than stock. Bumper was fucked anyway.

I removed 2” so the lower part of the cooler is exposed. The grille that came off is still intact. I pulled the lower portion of the opening down almost an inch on top of what got cut out. The original grille will be part of my template to make a new one, but the original won’t fit properly anymore. I have a plan for it, this by no means how it’s staying

I just think you want to tinker and change the look and I can respect that. Interested to see how this turns out. Opening that up really I can’t see it giving you any significant difference. And aren’t you running Meth as well ? :dunno:

I got it tilted back a little, so it has about an inch from the support...but to be honest it's a China FMIC. It's well documented to work great...but the tank design is shit. I think the top few inches flow nothing to very little.

It's whats referred to on the N54 forums as the "Big Tom" IC. It's been proven to support cars in the 7-800hp range.

Few more. Soldered the seams. Still have to dimple some mounting points and trim the edge
