Surprisingly easy with the widebody and 305-wide tires, at least compared with narrow-body cars. Second pass was my best: 10.88 at 126.35 mph and a 1.651 60-foot. A drag radial and this would be deep deep 10s - I wasn't going wide-open until after first gear - I'd get wheel hop on the second-gear shift otherwise. Torque reserve and launch control weren't part of the equation here with too much shock for those poor Pirelli tires. I expected higher traps, but not sure what was going on. Ambient temp was 45-50 degrees during testing, DA was -440.

I drove for the fastest time but didn't author this: https://www.cars.com/articles/going...-challenger-srt-hellcat-redeye-1420703398783/

I usually do the driving for comparison tests and drag testing but since taking a new role I need to get others behind the wheel. My trainee did well, but was a little too heavy footed out of the hole. Always spun at launch or or got loose in second. Really need to drive it like there’s an egg under the accelerator pedal. Can’t do hulk smash starts.

Its the new norm bro, need to be deep in the 9's or upper 8's on a DD to impress people now a days

This comment is exactly why I’ve decided to go big turbo over getting a new car, and why I made the build public. If you are slower than mid 9s you basically have no business entering any event now or lining up with anyone to race.
