Shipping Motorcycle

Who here has shipped a motorcycle before? I want to get my gsxr shipped from my parent's house in Schaumburg to Reno. Was looking at enclosed verse open trailer. It's ok some bike stands, and am hoping the transporter would take my gear with the bike, (stands, helmet, jacket, gloves). I wasn't sure how different it would be from shipping a car which I know a few guys on here have done.

I shipped my Hayabusa to California. The company strapped the bike to a pallet in a 53’ semi trailer and put the box of stock parts next to it and tied it down. I’ll look up the shipping information. I remember it was 775.00 but the company name I’ll look up.

Uship. Im in the process of doing this right now. Put up your info on the bike, shipping dates etc and wait on bids. Dont take the first one. My first one was 1100 and now im in the 500 range.
