Didn’t see a post here about this. I do enjoy the show as does my wife. She wanted to go to this event this weekend for her Birthday. We were only going to go on Friday but it rained and I didn’t feel like throwing money away hoping it would stop. We started reading comments about Friday night about the weather and how messed up everything was. We started second guessing going Saturday but decided to go as the neighbor was going too.
I must say we were there for about 10 hours and really enjoyed ourselves. Walking around the pits seeing all the “Street cars” in person as well as the people who owned them, which were way smaller in person, LOL.
There was some down time but with the Main event, small tire event and the Daily driver bracket (was really amusing) was a good show. Whoever the dude was driving the Late model Camaro in the DD class had some balls to stay in two runs while being sideways more than once. Was hoping to see my Buddy fair a little better in the small tire class but drew BoostedGT first round. Good to see Hans and Boost12 get through some rounds.
We would most definitely go back next year and I definitely plan to enter the DD tournament. Also, I couldn’t believe how many people were there.
