Headlight Restore Kits (3M before and After)

Always been a little unsure how these things work, and given I wasn’t willing to pay $1700 for new headlights for my Range Rover, I decided I’d give it a go.

Very happy with the results, lots of patience required:

i did my bmw's when i first got it and they are still good to go

This was the 3M Sanding pad kit; not the wipes/wax kit.

Used a drill and 4 stages of polishing down the scratches.

yeah that's what i used as well.

i think i got "yelled at" on here to just use my buffer and compound them out gradually next time

i did that on some of our work trucks since i got told... and it worked well.

I've always used Mother's Plastix and then apply a coat of Nufinish. Keeps them free from haze for about a year before I have to do them again. Never tried the sanding kits though, for the 20 minutes or so it takes with the Plastix, so I've never really bothered.

This was probably the cheapest L322 06 Range Rover on earth, no warranties here.
