Default Ford death wobble discuss

Guy on the phone is full of shit, but is this an isolated incident, or are Ford trucks doomed?

That's not death wobble, you cannot control death wobble and usually have to come to complete stop to get it to go away.

Thought jeeps was only when lifted.

Not a stock truck, and told its not designed to go over 65 without a load.

Is this is a widespread issue? 150, 2-350?

Death Wobble is typically sign of slop in the suspension. New ball joints, tie rods, track bar, etc. will cure it.

I believe it's primarily a 4x4 issue, but on all truck brands.

I was completely under the impression the super duties had IFS. Thought Dodge's whole selling point was solid axles whereas the competition did not.

My dodge Powerwagon had death wobble when you would hit an elevated crease in the road on the highway. Dealer couldn’t find anything wrong so I took the mechanic for ride and he felt it. Changed the ball joints and it fixed it.

Any solid axle vehicle can eventually get death wobble if the suspension parts are worn or even having tires that are worn unevenly or misbalanced like in my case after I lifted my wj grand Cherokee, just seems to show up more after lifting a vehicle and having the suspension geometry be off or having worn parts.
