Alright gents, I'd like to get larger width wheels for the Mustang. I want to put as big a tire back there that I can fit in the wheel wells.

What is a good site for aftermarket wheels? I don't want some crazy expensive wheels, this is more so for functionality than style. These will be my DD wheels, so they can't be hideous. But I'm not looking to spend $2k on wheels alone.

Same wheels I have sitting at home.... SN95 offset for the fronts, S197 offset for the rear because it's going to be IRS.

18" x 9" for all four for me, thinking 255/35/18 fronts, 275/35/18 rears if I got NT555 G2 all the way around. I'd love drag radials in the rear but theyre 285.40 and I dunno if theyll fit with the IRS on the fox body.

To the OP, check LRS.com for their wheels..... Good prices.

If you like the SVE drifts, theyre on closeout right now for 19" versions, $500 for all four wheels.

You can fit a 12" wide wheel out back with the right offset. So really depends what you want to do with it. You can get a 29" diameter tire if your suspension isn't slammed. So Ya, you have options. lol

The GT350 Wheels look good on this body and are not too speedy. The GT350 wheels look good buy cost a few hundred more. LMR and American Muscle are going to have the selection of cheaper wheels on their website. PK Auto design has had a ton of new wheel designs out this past month. But many of them are gonna run more money. But many are available as roll-formed wheels. Slight lighter than cast with a little more strength.

I will say many of the cheaper wheels have very flat front wheels. So be aware of that when looking.

Look at the lug nut barrels. You can see the ones directly below are very deep. Meaning the face of the wheels is pushed to the outside of the car.

Then compare the lug nut barrels on these wheels. You can see how much more concave these are.

There are so many wheel companies out there with basically the same wheel designs. But some add more detail and get the front wheel to be as concave as possible. So on the car two similar looking wheel on a companies website might look the same as another wheel. But when on the car you end up seeing they are very different.

Niche Essen 20x9 +35 offset 275/35/20 Continental DW
and 20x10 rear +40 offset 315/35/20 Continental DW ( the 315 with this offset is TIGHT) with a +55 offset which my buddy runs, has no issues.
Which I had powder coated this year. Last pic is what they looked like stock silver. had a 305/35/20 drag radial on it.

Check out the niche wheels on American Muscle, they're affordable at $225-$250.a wheel
