Seat repair

Anyone here ever taken apart a newer seat? I'm pretty sure I broke a spring in my back rest yesterday and now it leans to the side when I sit. I know I can unwrap the fabric from the seat and it'll be a PITA to put back but I am weary about the side curtain air bag. Is this something I should try and tackle?
