Aftermarket Corevette Wheels

Someone at my workplace recently purchased a C5 'Vette. The only cosmetic flaw with it is some curb rash/scratches/etc. on the wheels, so he wants to replace them with the same exact ones in excellent condition. I suggested going aftermarket where he has a lot of options on designs, finishes, colors, etc that will still fit his car, plus they'd be brand new. His only concern is on quality of some of these "replica" aftermarket wheel sellers. I know we have a decent chunk of 'Vette owners on here, so I figured I'd ask if anyone has any input/recommendations on this for sellers or brands.

He has a right to be a little concerned about aftermarket wheels. Its not very regulated so its not like the wheels are held to any standards.

But its more of a due your research thing to see if people are reporting problems with that particular aftermarket MFG.

I had OE wheels grand sport A-molds on my car and they were perfect. Couldn't beat it for $500 shipped
