Yea, I got quoted $27.99 at Napa, AZ is a ripoff on VWs, Kim works there and gets 20% there which still sucks on VW Parts.

The head bolts is the main thing though.

Different companies also make bolts with slightly different tolerances. Hence quality, Pricey bolts being better both materials wise and tolerances wise.

I told him to just go for some boneyard bolts. Figure that the honda head bolts are not TTY, And if he finds a honduh with roughly 100k the head has probably never been off, Therefore they are probably okay.

if It was me I would contact ARP directly and have them ship me 9 Of the Earlier D16Z6 Bolts and One D16Y8 bolt.

Even if you dont go boost, shit do it right.
