News came in today that I got a promotion, this means a bit more money but unfortunately going into the office 5 days per week. Currently I'm able to work from home twice weekly. I have 2 options, move closer, or try to enjoy the long commute a little more. Before jumping into a large mortgage, I want to try making the commute a little more fun by trading up the civic, so help me out with some options! I have a couple ideas in my head, but I'm not going got post them here.

Must Haves:
- Four door for potentially expanding family
- Peppy engine with fun transmission. I prefer manual, but will accept a sequential type transmission as well.
- Must be new or certified. I need a warranty that has a high ceiling for miles.
- Price must be around 30k or less. I'm not going to break the bank on a car I plan on putting 20k miles on annually.

my focus ST was a comfortable car, fully loaded had nice options, was quick, fun, exciting, and i averaged 28mpg... but needed a truck, so i traded it in for a silverado. but that ST was pretty fun. i also had a wrx that was fun too and decent mileage. both 4 doors and reliable if you dont mod the crap out of them
