Smug's ever going wheel thread

I plan on getting new 20 inch wheels for the Accord this spring and i need help deciding what direction to go. I want something nice, not $87 wheels, sorry Das I had to. I am open to spending up to the $1500 range, prefer some flow formed, rotary forged, classy, and not cheap looking. I am open to opinions and other options. Also I am pretty dead set on 20x8.5 inch wheel with a +35 to +40 offset. Absolutely NO matte or satin black. I'll add more wheels as I come across cool stuff.

This is my current set up on gloss black Niche Milan wheels 20x8.5 +35 mm offset. Lowered on H&R springs of course. I'll be keeping the same size tire 245/35/20

In no particular order

Ace Alloy Convex
Low pressure cast, not forged, $1500 a set, comes in like 7 finishes

Happens to be the Accord Sedan

Stance SC6
Low pressure cast, not forged $1500 a set, comes in three finishes, I have a boner for these wheels

Vertini RF1.1
Rotary Forged, weighs in at 23 lbs, $1500 a set, brushed silver
They have a tailor made program for all sorts of finishes for extra money

TSW Rouge
Low pressure cast, not forged $1200 a set, not sure how this will look on the Accord

They looks cool on this Audi, not sure about the Accord.

The wheels that were on the car always had a slight vibration at 70 mph and the one is bent so I am getting what I can get for them and moving on. Otherwise I would just keep them.

I think the Stance or the Vertini are the best. My only issue with the Stance wheels is that it says STANCE on the lip of the wheel. A bit too much for me.

Nobody is saying it is the end of the world, but it is something that wheel could do without. You remove that from the wheel and it is WAY cleaner IMO. In fact, if the name was different and not "stance" it would not be nearly as bad.

Ok so after looking at this thread like 30 times.

Considering the current wheels are wide bulky spokes like the Stance wheels change it up and do the Ace Alloy or even the Vertini wheels in bright silver. Those on the Charcoal coupe would look great and blend nice with the chrome trim.

I retract the Stance option.
