And had a grand ole time.
An auto, of course. The car was dog shit slow when I first started driving. Then I started romping on it and drove until the car was practically empty before filling up with premium. Couldn't believe the difference between what I'm sure was regular, and premium.
The car was just sitting unused and they rented it to me for $80 a day. Stupid stupid cheap. Yeah, it was double the cost of the compact car I originally had reserved, but was 10x more fun.
This was my first time in a non-Track pack 15 GT and first time with the auto in a GT. The tires were surely used up but the summer tires on the Track package have a ton more grip. It's much looser than a Track Pack car even though the front springs are only retuned - I think all the shocks are retuned, but could be wrong. This car is an amazing road trip car. Comfy, and ballsy when needed. Averaged 24 mpg after 600 miles and not being nice.
