Its set up to spray a 150 thats the max safe shot with a plate kit on a coyote I normally spray a 100, im sure the ls3 will take a 200 safely but it will also make 300-400whp on boost, when i say safe Im talking spray 50 bottles through it with no issues, you wont be spraying a 400 shot on a stock ls3 for a real long time, sure you probably can get away with a 250 or 300 for a little while, you also wont do that with a plate or nozzle system, there are guys that spray bigger shots on coyotes with a direct port but its a gamble how long it will last

yeah im not talking built motor, im talking about stock ls3's and coyotes, there are built coyote guys spraying 400's on direct port set ups not very many since you can take that same built motor and make 1200+whp with a turbo

At arguing apples to oranges? Boost vs nitrous yes.

My dispute about this whole mess was people discounting nitrous as a viable option.

Is the turbo or supercharged option better. Meh maybe depending on a whole lot of variables.

The whole blah blah you can only cram in so much into a NA engine was were my argument started.

Again same with boosted tech, nitrous tech has came a hell of a long ways recently.

Hell look at what bone stock Mustang and Camaros ect... make now vs even 5-10 years ago.

Budget+platform+power adder method= a hell of a lot of variables...

LOL don't be like pressure ratio and say your done too then carry on.......

HAHA seriously Ive debated this a quite few times living in ND with nothing but wide open flat interstate and very little traffic or worries. (more importantly E85 everywhere and 105 Sunoco in town also LOL)

An interstate brawler would be stupid fun.

Then its what gears? how long is this run going to be a half mile, full mile? longer?

Where is the end what determines the winner? Whoever runs out of gear lost? Who can run highest MPH?

Roll to 150? Roll to 160?

the main issue like pressure ratio said is the motors just wont take a big enough shot to compete with the turbo set up's, at the drag strip sure, from a roll its more of a how much hp can you make race and the turbo is going to always make more

I like nitrous, but if I were to build a "roll race monster" like the title says I wouldn't use nitrous, Im talking about big power roll race cars like 1200-2000hp your just not going to do that with a nitrous only car unless its a huge cube big block, the other down side is with nitrous every 100 hp eats 1lb roughly every 10 seconds so on a 400 shot your eat half a bottle every roll race

A few thoughts:

- Almost any 1000HP N/A engine isn't going to make it to the grocery store and back before needing valve springs. Not even remotely streetable, especially in a small block. The S.A.M. car is a dedicated race car.

- For a Roll Race Monster a 150 shot would be good for the first of your 3 stages. I also question whether the pistons or valves in a dedicated nitrous motor could take prolonged 5th & 6th gear pulls without melting at the horsepower level and amounts of nitrous we're talking about. I hate to see what the EGT's would look like.

- I'm not sure I understand the Honda spray 150 shot reference? The fact that the fastest nitrous Hondas in the world are stuck in the 10's and there are street driven 8 second Hondas should be enough to answer the question on which is better.

That is an interesting point about the Honda's Ive witnessed myself out at Maryland International Raceway All motor Hondas running 9 second times in the 1/4. I know All motor setups have been going single digits since at least 2012 forsure.

Makes me scratch my head about the nitrous builds Id have to dig around but really are you sure no ones done single digits? Weird that all motor builds are.....

Gladiator owned a sho. He says he beat a gtr. We asked if a monkey was driving while getting a blow job. He will swear it was a real race.
@The Beast or @wolfe can verify story.
