Default I made the mistake of finally test driving a 2015 mustang

Let me start off by saying, I am still not sold on the looks of these cars, I think the Roush package cars are very attractive, but un-necessarily expensive for just being an appearance package.

But goddamn are they smooth compared to my 2014 (ride wise)... And the seats and general 'content' of a Premium car, is perfect. I had no idea that the premium cars all came with heated/cooled seats, the big screen dash, backup camera, and tons of other little touches.

I drove a manual ecoboost performance pack and I'm not really keen on that power plant either to be honest, it feels anemic compared to my 5.0 (yes, I know there is a 100 horsepower gap, but it feels worse than that)

So does a more refined ride and substantially more features being standard offset how I feel about the looks?

Also, I'm still too fat for the Optional recaros, but the premium seats have actual bolstering and are very comfortable.

I'm completely torn...

I absolutely love driving it, especially after driving that '01 for ten years.

I'd be hard pressed to complain about anything on the car, but I'm a big old nutswinger.

It makes my daily commute so much more fun as I spend an hour each way.

The 13-14 cars are very attractive to me, but I think the '15 is the best looking Mustang to date. Every time I see one I wanna sell my notch...lol

I thoroughly enjoyed driving the 15. The previous years are dropping in value rapidly. I say do it.

One day in the distant future, I plan on doing a mild boost set-up, nothing crazy.

After owning a S197 for the better part of a decade and then sitting in a 15, I wouldn't buy another S197 unless it was a 13-14 GT500. The interior of the 15 Mustang is night and day in terms of features and refinement. Plus the styling of the 15 looks great in person. The more I see them on the road, the more the styling has grown on me.

I'm one of a few people I know who liked the 15 from the start. I'd rock one if I could afford another car payment.

I'm just not sold on the looks still, I still feel the front is very Fusiony.

I think the Roush front clips make a BIG difference, and I'm seeing them pop-up all over (Roush trimmed cars).

I think just one of those components is forged like the Boss. Either the rods or the pistons, don't recall.

rods, and i was thinking it had the same crank as the boss as well, either way dudes are hitting solid 800+ whp numbers on stock internal 2015's where 650whp is pushing it on a 11-14

I want a Vert, they no longer offer GT Verts with the Perf Pack.

However, All GT Verts now also come as 'Premium' cars, and then have all of the niceties right out of the box.
