I saw this Raptor today at my buddy's Siesta Key condo and thought it worth snapping a few pics.

Looks like a really nice area in Florida
siesta key is fucking awesome
Siesta Key is not far from my parents place. It can be beautiful down there, but Siesta Key and Lido Beach are usually overrun with tourists and shit
Siesta Key Beach is currently in the process of updating/upgrading. They recently built a new parking lot and are now renovating the old lot. They moved the bathrooms and food concessions south.
Once they finish renovating the old lot, the beach will have double the parking they had previously. That should help. I think the Midnight Pass traffic nightmares are due to people not being able to find parking.
If anyone wants to bankroll a parking garage down here, let me know. I'd be happy to partner with someone on a project that might make a lot of money. Might be difficult to get the idea past the "old school" people in charge of the island who don't like changes but lack of parking is Siesta Key's main problem. As a Realtor, I can work on location and permitting. PM me.
A highly desirable location, draws loads of tourists, incredibly high property values... lack of parking is not a problem.but lack of parking is Siesta Key's main problem.

It is to everyone who wants to use the beach or visit Siesta Village. Natives hate the back ups on Midnight Pass road caused by hordes of tourists wandering around trying to find parking spots.
I think doubling the beach parking will help but it won't do much for the Village's lack of parking. I was talking to some people who work there and they say they can't even drive anywhere for lunch because they will never find a spot after 12 PM.
We know spots that are usually open but the tourists have no chance of finding them. They drive in circles.
